Christiaan graduated from Utrecht University in 2010 with a master’s degree in Law & Business. During his studies, he worked at a legal consultancy firm and subsequently as a junior lawyer at an international production company. After his studies, Christiaan started working as a corporate lawyer at an association of entrepreneurs in trade and logistics. Not long after, he started his own legal consultancy firm. He combined this with his work as legal counsel at an internationally operating company. He met Tom in 2016 and there was an immediate business connection, which quickly led to a collaboration. Things went fast after that and Jurato grew to where it is today.

Christiaan’s entrepreneurial blood continues to flow. He always sees opportunities and works with the Jurato team every day to build a powerful organization. The introduction of the seven values model to gain a legal picture of the entire company is a good example of this. Christiaan is always working on new developments in the market, such as legal tech and contract management systems. His view is that things that can be simple should also be simple, so that the focus can be on the content of a matter.

In addition to his work, Christiaan is active in business clubs, is a fanatic athlete and enjoys going out with family or friends. He also likes to travel, is inspired by art and enjoys a visit to a nice restaurant.
